ISH! a local thing

So today we've had Salt Potatoes, "Southern Boy" Shepherds Pie, Mexican Chicken, PLEASE forgive other local things I've forgotten.

In Minnesota, when you get something deemed GROSS or HIDEOUS on your plate you say "ISH!"

For instance a 6 year old looking at a pile of cooked spinach. (cept I LOVE spinach)

I've found from travel that a VERY common word here is unknown or unused in the rest of the States.

Heck maybe we do a spot for Local or Regional Foods/Traditions.
