I've used the Grill Pro 31845 Propane smoker multiple times and cannot get it to stay consistently under 300 degrees. I've tried the following:

- Ice in the Water Pan

- Put on an Additional Stack

- Turned the Heat All the Way Off and Let the Chips Smolder Down.

- Lowest Setting on the Smoker and the Tank Valve BARELY open.

This is very frustrating, as I e-mailed the company and they sent me a newer, smaller model, that looks like it has the same size burner and line.

Any thoughts how I can get the heat down?

Thanks, Dave
