Does anyone know if I can freeze a chicken I have brined but not cooked? I would think so but just wanted to verify nothing would happen since it’s been in the brine. The reason I ask is I have been brining 2 whole chickens for about 24 hours now. I was going to smoke them for dinner tonight but I messed up because it’s supposed to be storming where I live all day today. I was trying to decide between cooking in my garage and just waiting for better weather but the next time I will be able to cook them will be next weekend at the earliest. I have a vacuum sealer I will use but I wasn’t sure if it would pull all the air out of the cavity inside the chicken and I didn’t want anything to spoil and risk cooking bad chicken. Thanks.

The moisture you have added to the meat muscle, will rip the meat apart as ice crystals form... Could make for a very dry hunk of meat.... maybe....
