So the other day my GF said her neighbor had a grill she was wanting to GIVE away because her landlord said she couldn't have it at her apartment anymore.  I go and look at it and I'll be damned if it wasn't a weber.  Pretty sure its a summit S420.  The outside is pretty nasty but the inside isn't too bad.  Every thing works, each igniter for each burner works perfect, I put a tank in it and it fired right up.  Have no clue how long its been sitting, looks like it wasn't used a whole lot.  I looked it up on Amazon and I couldn't believe this thing goes for $1800!!  Anyways, I have no clue how to clean the outside up, any advice?

I know Weber sell their own BBQ cleaner. I am thinking because it is stainless steal you should be able to use a stainless cleaner on it. I use really hot soapy water and some good old elbow grease to clean my once a year. I also use a plastic scrubber so it won't scratch. But that is one great score. Happy grilling.

I would start at the carwash for the big chunks,  tire and motor cleaner or the bug remover stuff should soften a lot of that,  hot water with some dawn dish soap and elbow grease does wonders as well.
