Bigger is better if you need the extra Q-pacity.  Alot of us here use both charcoal and wood in all types of smokers, including stick burners.  The choice is endless as far as your smoker decision, it really comes down to $, space and cooking capacity that your looking for.  There are smokers here using Webers, UDS, offset pits, uprights, you name it, it's being used to smoke meat on or in.  Give us a $ figure and we'll go to work.

As for the $$$, I want to stay under $2500. I know I can get almost anything for that. Im not wanting to do this as a bussiness so I dont need HUGE, but, when I cook, I like to COOK! Im not really wanting to do any kinda compitition yet. I do like to throw a few partys though. As for space, I live in the country and have 5 acres to work with, so thats not an issue.

Im thinking of about getting a good stick burner, and a smaller electric smoker. I think that would give me the best of both worlds.

I will probably be using a lot of hickory. I have tons growing on my place. I will also play with some other woods, like apple, and peach.

Man, I can not wait to get started with this. Where can I find a list of what the internal temp should be?

If you haven't signed up for Jeff's 5 day free e-course, do so.  Most of the info is really aimed at newbs to smoking, but I and others have found it very informative.  The IT chart is in the 5 day e-course, but I also think it's on the mother site to this one, Smoking-Meat.com.  If your budget is $2500 and below, you might want to look into getting a pit built for you, where are you located?  Of course, Lang, Klose, Gator Pits, and a number of others have numerous models well under that price range.
