    Got a drum, question about liner/interior paint

    I'm in SE Wisconsin, about 40 minutes North of  Chicago.  I have several sandblasting shops at my disposal that I've used for motorcycle stuff (my other hobby) so I'm good there.  I was just hoping to avoid it.  My daughter's birthday is a week from today and I was hoping to do some ribs on it.

    This is what I'm working with: The seller stated that the liner was removed and it was painted.  I put a propane torch on one concentrated area for probably 30 seconds and the paint looks untouched.  Given a usual smoker temp of 225-275, do I need to grind this paint off or can I just start...
