    July 4th - Packer Brisket

It has been a while since my last post, but that doesn't mean BBQ has slowed down. I've been smoking whole chickens, pork butts, baby back ribs, st louis ribs, and packer briskets. Trying different types of chunks has been fun as well, anything from hickory to apple, mesquite to pecan, I enjoy...

    Smoked Meatloaf

Yesterday I smoked (2) 2.5 lb meatloafs on my Outlaw smoker. This was my first attempt smoking meatloaf, but I've only read good things about it so I had to try it for myself. I added eggs, bread crumbs, bbq sauce, salt, pepper and a splash of worcestershire sauce, and I must say I'll never have...

I need help dialing in my Chargiller Smokin Pro Model #1224

I agree with 5oclocksomwhere above. Anything you can do to lock in the heat and smoke will give you more control over your smoker. I also have a Chargriller Outlaw and the modifications I made are below: -charcoal basket -RTV silicone between firebox and cooking chamber -dropped the smoke stack...

What did your chargriller smoke this summer?

I neglected to take photos as well, but I smoked pork butts, lots of chicken thighs, a packer brisket, whole chicken, baby back ribs, and spare ribs. I need to get better at taking photos to post on this site. Anyone else looking forward to good BBQ this fall with cooler temperatures and good...

The CharGriller Owners Group Official "Introduce Yourself" Thread

Hi everyone. I'm excited to see a Chargriller group forming and I've enjoyed the information that's already being shared on here. Below is a photo of my Chargriller Outlaw smoker that I've installed a few modifications on. To begin, I sealed the gaps between the firebox and grill with RTV...
