    Char griller 3001

    Howdy, i bought this grill and went to season it. It says to not go above 450 or it could rust. I tried to keep it at 250 but even on the lowest heat setting with all 3 burner it got to 500.is there a better way to control the heat? It was windy here today when using it. Thanks
