    Brisket packer prices

    I went to pick up a full packer brisket yesterday and prices were $6+ / lb at multiple stores. I looked at the wholesale price for IMPS #120 and it hasn't moved in weeks (~$3.10/lb).  Anyone else seeing a sharp jump this week?

    I've had good luck with the lower priced ThermoWorks products. For an instant read I have this:  http://www.thermoworks.com/products/low_cost/rt600c.html Did the ice bath and boiling water tests, dead on.
