It was around 60 here today, so that wasn't the problem. I returned the unit to Sam's and brought home another. I'm seasoning it right now. So far, so good. It reached 275 in about 30 minutes. Well, so much for my new MES40. Unpacked and assembled it last night. Went to season it this morning. I'm at 2 hours now and have yet to reach 140.
