    All you should need is some 1/4" round steel around the edge to Make the expanded racks stable. Can use thicker, but 1/4 works pretty good.

    go with the auberin dual probe 1800w plug n play. even building your own will cost the same amount, might be slightly more, and you still have to figure out how to build it and then build it. Th penp dual probe is worth every penny.
