Spare rid or St Louis cut

I'm cheap.  I get the spares and trim them. I smoke the trimmed meat, pull it,  and then it goes in the BBQ'd bake beans.

My brother has an old fridge he's giving me to use as a smoker.

It looks like enamel coated metal to me.  Is that bad?  What would you recommend I do with it? I will try and get it moved to my garage this weekend and cleaned up.

My brother has an old fridge he's giving me to use as a smoker.

I haven't gone to pick it up yet. It needs lots of clean-up. Here are some pics from his building: I plan on using propane as the heat source.    What do I need to look for when going through and remodeling it?

How good is the Smoke Hollow 44" smoker ?

Used mine to Smoke 36lbs of Turkey.  Couldn't get the temp up to 325 with just gas, so I used my AMNps with charcoal loaded in it to get to there.  Worked out well.  Was really pleased with the cook and the flavor.   Meathead's Simon and Garfunkel Rub is the stuff for Turkey.

Proud owner of a new MES40

Seasoned the smoker earlier today.  Smoking a bacon wrapped pork loin on it now.  Have added chips a couple of times.  I do like the remote temperature monitoring.    What size amazn smoker do I need?
