    Ive been doing lots of reading and searching but cant seem to find much info. Im looking at purchasing this smoker but im curious about the advantages/disadvantages of this design. This is a picture from the back so you can see the fire box.

    I agree its not worth $85. Im gonna keep an eye on it for a few days to see if it sells. If not i may try for $50. Id line some sort of offset to toy with till after my wedding i can save up for a lang patio. But i want to get somthing decent to use in the meantime.

    Do you mix lump and briquets?

    So far ive never had to had tonthe uds since i fixed my air flow issues. I was just referring to how difficult it would be to add coals as venture explained.

    How did the small pieces mess the blades up? And i do have issues with it falling through the grate on my coal basket. Then my dogs eat the coal...so less mess is always nice

    Im in the process of trying new things. Thats what its all about right? Playing and coming up with new things. I use a uds now. Its just a pain to add mid smoke.
