DougE, Thanks for the reply. Mine has two Philips screws in front of the guard, no problem with them. Two small nuts on the smoker side , on screws. They should come off from inside the hopper if I can get a small wrench to fit.
Can some one tell me the size wrench I need to remove the two small nuts holding the pellet guard to the back of the hopper on an Camp Chef Smoke Pro DLX PG 24?

I use a charcoal smoker, New Braunfels, that I use
wood in. I keep a five gallon bucket nearby, and use
it to dip any wood that catches fire. If you soak your
wood, you steam your food. Use your vents to
control the heat.
kdquades, I have done and continue to do salmon and chicken in the same smoker. A New Braunfels.
Don't let one drip on the other. If you have room, put them both on the same rack. Fish doesn't take
long. I've never had cross taste problems.
