Yep that looks like either an Oklahoma Joe or Brinkmann Pittmaster either way for $40 you got a solid smoker and a great deal IMO. In looking at the picture again there's no wheel axle just stubs off of the legs so makes me think its a Brinkmann. You got a deal wish I could find one for that...

I converted this old New Braunsfel to propane using Turkey Fryer burner but like you I'm trying to find a PID controller and valve to work together to control the temperature.
Also as a side note I never heard back from Idevices after several emails about the issues I had with the I grill mini. That said it's been returned back to Lowes and I doubt I'll ever deal with Idevices again.
I looked at the Igrill Mini 2 on the website just not a fan of that design would rather they use the original Igrill unit with four probes. I think the mini and mini2 are a stumble for Igrill I can't imagine how you interface with that tiny cube.
I have the Grill Alert the one drawback is only one probe that said the probe is very heavy duty and I often run it along with my maverick and they are right on par.
I'll get to the point as most people don't too often in these reviews. I rate the IGrill mini. 2 out of 5 stars.
