Hey Wolf, doesn't look like you did any prep on the ribeyes (rub, marinade), did you put them in the smoker straight out of the package? Did you finish them with anything other than searing them on the grill?
Thanks for the suggestion. They were trimmed about one month ago, any idea on how long I should let them season? (the branches I saved are 1 - 3" thick)
I was wondering about this myself. I have apple and cherry tree branches that were trimmed this spring. I think I'll remove the bark and cut them into chunks for smoking.

Thanks for your opinion. I have only had my #1 for a week but we are empty nesters now and couldn't justify a larger unit. That and the portability of #1 made it the choice for us.
