Anyone use wood pellets in their MES?

Dang, And I thought I got a deal for 149 with free shipping from Amazon a while back! Have to agree with you.  I used mine a couple of times but when I got the AMNPS and used it this weekend, the smoke part of the smoker really took off.

    MES 30 + PID + AMNPS

Real happy with the controller and the AMNPS. Now that I know it works, I need to clean up the installation a bit. The controller really does a good job of maintaining the temp.   Seems like it also helps the smoker to recover faster after a door open event since I can have the thermostat for...

Got my MES today, Joining in the Electric Club

So, My "Masterbuilt 20070210 30-Inch Electric Analog Smoker" arrived today and I'm currently doing it's initial seasoning. Seems like a decently built little unit for the money. I do most of my smoking on my weber using an IQ 110, but I recently started making sausage and I thought a little...

Does anybody have an Auber Sous Vide cooking controller for poaching sausage?

I've had good success doing psuedo 'sous vide' in just a little cooler. I fill it with hot water from the tap and then add boiling water to get the temp up to just a couple of degrees above my desired temp. Typically I use it for doing rib eyes and have left them in there for a couple of hours...

Hello, New member here from Palomino Valley, Nevada.  About 30 miles or so NE of Reno. I've been a BBQ fan for a long time and have gone through many different grills/smokers.  My wife likes to talk about my BBQ graveyard in the back. The reason I joined is that I've recently gotten into...
