    Please help! My family's Hungary! lol

    hello all, i recently purchased a Brinkmann verticle smoker, even after soaking my wood chips for a substantial amount of time, they are burned up to ashes wihtin 30-45 min. i put them directly on the hot coals...is that the problem? Should i be using wood chunks? i would like to smoke this...
