    Instead of cutting sheet steel I used electrical box plate covers for the air diffuser I used 8/32 nuts and bolts I cut the holes with 1" holesaw I did all the other mods pretty much by the bookhere are some pics

    Google brinkman gourmet smoker mods shows how to put dampers on bottom n top same smoker u need a 3/4 to 1" metal hole saw ur need 3 dampers on bottom as the brinkman mods shows n close off the bottom hole
