Yep she works great!! Seasoned it with 4lbs of bacon then smoked up some bacon wrapped venison steaks. Turned out perfect melt in your mouth could chew them with your tongue. Mmmmmmmm
Can I ask how much you spent on it? I under stand if you don't want to say. I'm thinking about building one to sell I just have know idea how much I can get out of it and I can't afford to build one and loose money on it. Check out the build I am working on now lots of pics up
Ok now it is ready for sandblasting. Made some new shelves and a new cook grate old one was pretty flimsy also installed a fire rope for a door seal on the fire box. Next pics you see it should be painted and Rollin some smoke!! Can't wait!!
Note to anybody that is going to put a drain on there smoker that lives in a cold climate put the ball valve as close to the cook chamber as possible. The grease froze before it got down to the bottom. Had to heat the pipe with a torch to get it to turn into a liquid again.
