    The 4H pig is in the freezer now, and i saved the jowls from the sausage mix to try my first bacon, jowl in this case.the Bellies are waiting on the outcome of this experiment . Bacon on the hoof. And hams, and butts and ribs... This was taken in late June.  They put on at least 150 pounds...

    New member here from north of Spokane WA. Long time reader, first time poster.   I recently built a smoker from a 1930's Kelvinator fridge using ideas and info i got from lurking here.  I've used it twice with good results.  Married, 3 kids, all in 4h, so we have chickens and we raise 4h pigs...
