I am planning on trying to smoke a prime rib this weekend and am new to smoking.
I have been reading different posts about the au jus and am not sure when to put the pan under the meat for the au jus with the veggies in it.
Should I put the pan under the meat when I begin smoking or an hour...
Hey Dave - thanks for the reply.
Here is a pic of where the pan is and the flame disc bowl. The pan is what only gives a little bit of room.
And, here is a pic of the tiny door on the side.
I do know that it's an "all in one" unit and I bought it to "try out" smoking before...
