    Got it dialed in, I enlarged the flame holes and it is now a true blue flame. No flickering and will burn low. the temp range is 220 to way hot, I still need to season the inside of the grill then for my first cook. Probably basic hamburger and work my way into trying to smoke with this grill...

    Thanks for the help, Joe's instructions are what I followed from the start except for cutting the pipe with the saw. My tank is small and I did not think I wanted that much flame.     Hole size, i am able to put a large paper clip end in the hole, but a tooth pick is tight, if pushed hard I can get to tooth pick into the hole. I can get my drill bits out tomorrow and see if I can find exact size? That would be a variable I have not tried.

    Galvanized pipe burner?

    Is it Ok to use galvanized pipe to make a pipe burner? If not is it OK to us Black pipe with galvanized end caps. Or is using galvanize pipe a no no, no matter what. The burner is to run the length of a horizontal grill. Thank you for your thoughtful replies.

    Frozen Pizza + Leftovers on the grill

    We just did our first fresh pizzas on the grill, loved them,best we ever had. Temp is the biggest trick. We found medium direct heat on the gas grill got them done but not burnt. What temp setting do you do frozen pies? Thanks Tomm

    I am wishing to make a smoker/grill. The grill will traditional and be fueled by charcoal. I see the side fire box fitted with a propane burner and lava rocks to fuel the smoker. I wish to move the fire box to underneath the grill box. And have the propane burner heat the bottom on the grill box...
