Whast cut of meat for sandwiches

I am about to try my first attempt at making roast beef for sandwich. My question is, I will have about 3lbs after all said and done, should I slice all of it and then vacuum seal some for later. If I vacuum seal how long would it stay good without freezing it.

What smoker would you buy if you had $500

I think I a going to build one. I found this old commercial over that I am hoping I can get for a good cost (free). I also found a nice metal tank that I think would be good for a fire box. The only think that will be hard to find is someone that can help me weld. I don't have a welder and don't...

What smoker would you buy if you had $500

Do you have any recommendations on how to adapted my stoker to an UDS. I would need the fire box to be draft free except for the air intake from the stoker. Would the 10CFM be good for a 55gal drum? :-/ Thanks

What smoker would you buy if you had $500

Simple question... If you had $500 what smoker would you buy? :-/ So, I know $400-$500 in the BBQ world is not much to work this, but my wife and mother-in-law are thinking of getting me a new smoker for Chrismas/birthday and I'd like to point them in the right direction. I mostly cook pork...

Q view Turkey legs on custom back-up pit

Some of you may think I am a little crazy after reading this post. I would have to say I am! My wife says I am a cross between Al Bundy and Tim the tool man Tayler. I am the type of person that thinks everything I buy can be modified and made better. As you read this post, my friends and I are...

Thanks for the reply...Very true with the temp not time. I love the fried so much, I can do a 16lbs bird in about an hr. The guests are weirded out when they get here and the raw turkey is in the refrigerator.
