Thanks for the replies. Yes, it is the digital, it is one month old, guy won it at work and had no idea what it was. I think he made an honest mistake when he listed it as the 40. I have been using a modified charcoal offset with pretty good results, but the family complains about charcoal taste...- flboy

Well, I thought I was buying an MES40 for a fantastic price (Craigslist), but after getting home I discovered I picked up a MES 30 for a good price. New out of box, unseasoned. Questions, can the 30 handle a whole pork shoulder? Should I be looking at upgrading the element? It has the 800--or...- flboy
