How to mount a meat thermometer
Look in the hardware store. In the dept, where they sell pipe nipples and the like. You should find a flange that has a pipe thread with 4 smaller countersunk holes arranged 90 deg. for mounting.- toolmaker

Cold Smoking Fuel Saving
I had a thought! When I was a child my grandma used to cover her tea pot with a home made cover. I think that they called it a teapot cozy. What if a guy made a " cozy " for a smoker? Would this help maintain temps. I know some of the nicer smokers are already insulated. Has anyone found...- toolmaker
