    Bradley temperature control

Glad to hear that your turkey came out great! Yes, I forgot to mention that the IT is more important than time. I picked up the Maverick ET-73. There's no way I would be able to get briskets cooked perfectly without it. You are going to feast like kings tomorrow! Happy Thanksgiving!

    Bradley temperature control

As Beer pointed out, the Bradley only has a 500w heating element.. When you put in something as large as a turkey, it takes a long time to recover since the heating element is so small and underpowered. It's battling a turkey that is, at best room temp, or at worse refrigerator temp. You're...

    Apple and Cherry Trees?

I live in Connecticut and snow season is creeping up pretty fast. My shed is packed so I have no other dry place to store the wood except for my basement.. Which actually works out great because I have a hatchway. Easy access.

    Apple and Cherry Trees?

One more question.. While letting the wood dry should I split the logs or just leave them? They will be stored in my basement with little to no moisture. Thanks

    Apple and Cherry Trees?

Hi, new here to the forum and the smoking world. I have a question about wood. I have both cherry and apple trees that I will be cutting down in the next few days due to adding an addition to the house. Are there specific apple or cherry trees that should never be used for smoking? Apple tree...
