    I HATE sweet gum trees. I've raked them gum balls up 3 times this year and there's still 1000's on the tree.

    Lump vs Briquettes

    My last smoke i used Royal Oak hardwood lump. Got real windy and the temp drop 20 degrees half way thru the smoke. I had the same problems but still used almost half the amount of lump then i did charcoal on a mild day.
