    Okay, thanks for the info. But plot twist... Instead if a Webber Kettle, what if you're cooking in a smoker with 72'x32'x24 dimensions. That's 32 square feet that need to be heated to 250° How much coal do you think one would need?

    Okay. If I'm not using and offset smoker, would I still want to use wood? I'm just thinking about direct heat and flames messing up the meat.

    What kind of fuel do you guys use? I'm making one for a BBQ in a couple months. Want to use charcoal. How much fuel would a smoker that big need?

    2 different meats, 1 temperature

    Planning a BBQ with some friends and we are wanting to smoke some a few different things on a large smoker. Ribs and brisket both need a temp of 225-250, but chicken requires 275. What would happen if I smoke the chicken at the same lower temps as the other meats? Would they not cook through...
