Reverse flow build, just getting started
Love the idea. Smoker looks great. I just finished my own and wanted to add a propane burner to assist getting the wood going but I wasn't smart enough (or devoted enough to do the research) to figure out a reliable/easy to clean method. Looks like you have it all figured out. Great work!!- j-rod

My original plans were to have this shelf fold out of the way when not in use but the axle is so wide this seemed like a lot of trouble for nothing. I also like the idea of the middle firebox with a baffle that allows the heat/smoke to work around both sides. You would prob get very even cooking on both sides. I would imagine that the stack would have to be located in the center of the tank but I have never seen a build quite like this so...- j-rod

Used the BBQ pit calculator to give me firebox info. Build firebox out of 1/4" plate and 1" square tubing. Really wanted to double wall/insulate the firebox but the weight would have been crazy. The firebox alone ended up weighing over 400 lbs. I imagine it would have been 800 or more if it...- j-rod
