Hello; I rigged up a very small fan (computer fan) and placed it over the vents on the grill, it pulled the smoke out but also brought a draft to the wood chips and boy did the burn hotter. It created more smoke than before & it was smoking out the masterbuilt like crazy, looked into the wood...
That makes a lot of sense, I tried opening the ash pan to get a draft going but not much luck. maybe I'll have to vent the top more (drill holes) to get the old smoke out. And add a small fan like you said. thanks for the tip.

looks great. was checking the site to find a smoke recipe for this. question, did you check the meat temp in the middle of the meat or basically in the middle were the bacon is?
