    Peoria Cookers

Shirley Fab is easily the best cooker I've ever owned and probably ever will own. The 2 catches: 1) It's a 2-year-long waiting list to get one 2) It's an RF stick burner that devours wood like no tomorrow. Thus, it's a labor-intensive and hard to tend with little kids in the home. I have to...

    Lang 60 Deluxe

I had a Lang 36 Deluxe Hybrid and absolutely adored it. My only nitpicking complaint was that the cook chamber was too narrow. A 60 would solve that problem immediately. Lighting sticks in the firebox is my happy place. No need to apologize for having a hobby that turns out delicious food...

    I touched greatness today!

You won't be disappointed. I bought my Shirley and haven't looked back. With little kids, it's harder for me to feed the sticks every 40 minutes, but nothing can touch the BBQ coming off this thing. I'll be doing Christmas prime rib and feeding sticks in the snow--anything for the Que!!

    Peoria Cookers

Rock solid but with a price tag to boot. Peoria Custom is famous for insulated FB and insulated CC. However, their trailers start at $10,000 and go up from there.

Pitmaker vault, charcoal grey with metal flake.

Yowzers!! I’m very interested and gears are turning in my head. Coincidentally , I’m up smoking a brisket and turkey will go in a few hours. The wife is stressing about all our guests and making the house look tidy so I know it’s dangerous bringing it up before our thanksgiving dinner...

Pitmaker vault, charcoal grey with metal flake.

Sorry folks, I hit submit twice. I figure I’ll just say a Vault is perfect since stickburning is rough with two little ones at home. I’ll be anxiously awaiting your reply!!

Pitmaker vault, charcoal grey with metal flake.

Hey Neighbor , I’m just four hours south of you in Denver. How low would you go on price if I were able to pull a trailer up by you to fetch it? I was talking to Becca at Pitmaker and had my heart set on Viper red but I could drop the color preference if the price is right. Coincidentally...

    My new Shirley Fabrication smoker

Congrats.  I love the Shirley rigs--they're the best.  Now I've got to get me a Super Shirley for patio use because our HOA bans trailers.

    Brand new custom shirley

Congrats and welcome to the family!!  I never dreamed I'd own a cooker this good.  I'm so pumped that I'm gonna try to convince the wife to let me put a $300 deposit down to get on their 16 month waiting list as a Father's Day gift.  Wish me luck!!

    "OLD" Oklahoma Joe

I went even lower temp for many hours just to set the paint on my new cooker.  I did a very small fire on purpose to keep in 200-250 range.  Because you're essentially painting it fresh the whole way around, it's reasonable to treat it like a brand new cooker.  Only after a few hours of setting...

Installing a bbqguru Blower adapter advice needed.

Strong work! That's the beauty of BBQ : you can soup up a rig like a hotrod and beat more expensive units. Congrats on just a one degree differential !!

Ddrian, That pastrami seems out of this world, I keep reminding myself that food processors "tell" us what we can eat. When I see those thick gorgeous slices, it tells me that I need to step up my game and learn more. Nice work amigo!

Awesome!!  Can you post some Que View pics?  I'm getting pumped.  I've been working with firecraft.com and I love their service.  It's 4 guys that opened their own small BBQ business and Andy as well as Bob walked me through requirements to stoke my Shirley Fab beast.  They're selling Flameboss...
