Ok, so last night I did another "boil test" and got the following results:
Probes in correct location:
214 Food
212 BBQ
Probes Reversed:
216 Food
216 BBQ
No idea what to think of these results. Reached out to Todd (where I bought it) as well as Maverick last week with no responses from...
Yup, and read them. It states you can mount it between the rear wheels (not sure how being a handle is in he way) or for the best stability over one of the legs. I need to have the vent situated so when I am smoking the vent is over the meat, but I can still get easy access to the slow n sear...

Greetings fellow cheeseheads. Figured I would join the group. Just picked up my Weber Kettle and will be ordering the Slow n Sear shortly. Still need a wireless thermometer. I was leaning toward the Maverick ET-732, but it seems either people love them or they are junk. So not sure what I am...
Hello from Wisconsin!! Just joined and am hoping to learn a ton from this site. I am currently looking at getting a 22" Weber with a Slow n Sear. I really am looking for something simple that allows me to smoke and grill. From my initial research it would seem this fits my needs. Now I just need...
