    Cold Weather Pellet Smoking

I generally use my Pit Boss in the garage but I've used it when it was well below 0F. Find s good welding blanket or insulated cover and pellet consumption is less but cold hasn't slowed me down. Last Christmas I did prime rib in the garage. Cold... yes. Delicious... oh yeah. Totally worth it...

Brisket on pit boss pellet grill

I have the Pit Boss 1000SC. I run mine on a P setting for about the first two or three hours, then turn it to 250F. Mine is offset and no PID so it runs hotter than 250, closer to 285. As far as how long it will take has more to do with the meat and the thickness of it. If you are going to wrap...

Hexclad Pan Review, Real World Real Time - Lots of Pictures!

Momma wants new pots and pans for Christmas. Looking at their black Friday deals and I know very little, aside from reading here, about them. They look great and sound wonderful but I am also a bit cheap. I am looking at the 12 piece bundle for $600? I feel like I am crazy for that. I trust you...

Bird is the word!!! How do you cook yours???

This year we are giving my mom (and our stomachs) a break. My wife is doing a stuffed bird in the oven. I'm thinking of doing a breast on the rotisserie with some hickory and apple. My nephew doesn't like turkey, I have a few hams in the freezer for I offered to do one of those too. Probably on...
