    adding more heat.

    I smoked 2 chickens yesterday and it took more than 2 hours. My temp in the bbq was 220. any segestions please on how to increase the amout of heat. I turned over my ash pan as a baffle. If I use tin foil to cover the bbq will that help? Thanks for all the input.

    fire box top door

    my char griller SFB top door leaks a lot. Could I use foil to seal up the air leak? Could I also turn over my ash try on my grill to use it as a baffle? Thanks for any suggestions I am new to smoking but I already love it.
