    First build - drum smoker, need help

    yesterday I picked up two drums that are unlined. They had rubbing alcohol in them so they should be safe to use for a smoker build. I've never built a smoker before and I am looking for help. Does anyone have experience making a side box smoker out of drums?

    Bay Tree

    There was a downed bay tree in the backyard of the house we bought last summer.  I pulled about 2 cord of logs out of the revine that I am cutting and splitting into firewood.  Can I use the wood for smoking meat?  What meats are best somkked with bay woood? Bob Elliott
