    Taking Temps in a Fatty

    Where do you take the temp in a fatty? Do you put it halfway in the sausage or do you put it in the center? I'm new to smoking (I will also go into roll call soon with some pics of my equipment), and fatties look like a way to get my family to get into it as well.
