    Roasting a turkey in the smoker

    My smoker will easly reach and hold as high as 500 degrees, I was wondering about doing a wood roasted turkey,  I was going to brine them  2 15 lbs birds and get the smoker up to 500* the cover turkeys and put them in for 45 min and back off temp to 325 and finish uncovering for the last hour...

    Had sixty people realy happy happy on sat.

     Cooked up 15lbs of brisket (upper right corner) two 8lb pork butts 3 racks of ribs 25 chicken 1/4s and this time I smoked some beans. also cooked 25 chicken 1/4 on the front grill

    Done with the smoker

    All painted with 2 coats high heat black on the smoker and alluminum on the trailer, just need to mount the lights and we are off to the cook out ;-)
