As promised, here is the Qview as my cook progresses. I posted the rub recipe that I am using for this cook in the recipe forums so here is the follow up.

I've taken a rub that I have used a bunch and modified it a bit. Cooking a brisket and Boston butt later this week so we will see how it turns out. here is what I did,
equal parts
sweet paprika
crushed red pepper flakes
mustard powder
onion...

Just joined SMF do to the vast amount of information here. Im using a Char griller pro with side box. Had it for years. I live in central Ohio and interested in grilling, smoking, recipes. Hope to share some ideas with everyone. See ya in the forums!
