    Hello everyone im new to pellet smoking,and this forum.I just bought a Yoder YS 640 and would like to add some thermostats to the hood of the smoker.Yoder sells them for $50.00 each.Does anyone know any other brand that might work just as good with a cheaper price tag.Thanks for your time.

    I just recently purchased a YS640 last week. I had  some time yesterday to fire up the smoker and perform the initial burn off. The instruction say to burn at 350 degree's for an hour.
