Long time Homebrewer, finally made the leap into smoking!
Hey all. just got myself an ECB. After lots of reading, I managed to add a real thermo and drill my coal pan. Started my test burn this afternoon @ 4pm. By 4:45 it heated up to 275 degrees. Another 20 minutes later and it was 250. And its now 830, and it STILL at 250, original load of lump... -
ECB, first test burn questions
So I got my ECB 2 days ago, immediately drilled holes in the charcoal pan. In the middle of my first test burn. I used lump, 3/4 chimney full, and dumped onto a 3/4 full pan or unlit lump. I am almost 2 hours in and its been sitting @ 250 for the last 90 minutes. My question is this, how would I...- seedubxj
