Survived Hurricane Gustave
Me and my Smoker Survived Hurricane Gustave. The only good thing that came out of this Hurricane was that I can get enough wood to smoke on for years and I am making so much over time I may be able to refill my Freezer with Baby Backs lol. Question about Oak
I live in South Louisiana and have Oak Trees around my house. I don't want to sound to dumb but I am new to smoking. I read a lot of the post and see that some people use Oak for Smoking. Can you use a fresh cut branch for smoking or do you have to let it cure for a while? It appears... -

Lt. Smoker needs help
I have always loved to grill things. On Fathers day of this year, my wife bought me a gas smoker. I work a rotating shift and have smoked something (mostly ribs) on it every time I get a day off.
