    A Baffle plate question

    Hey Guys, Pretty Fresh to the whole BBQ and smoking scene, and I have a question about a mod for the Oklahoma Joe I just bought. I want to put a baffle plate in. My question is how far should I extend the plate into the cooking chamber? I was thinking 1/4" steel for the material to use.
