    Help me...brisket!

    Just put my 1st brisket on 7 lbs ( no pics...sorry I'm a rookie) It's at 150 after 2hrs 15 mins! Seems fast for what I've read. Temp has been about 260, but I turned it down to 220. Suggestions?!?!?!

    New(old) electric smoker

    I just picked up a Mr. Meat(I know) electric smoker at a garage sale for $5 & would like any input from someone who's used one. Figured out the 2 racks & that the drip pan hangs below the bottom rack... No smoker box or any thing came with it. Do I put a smoke box right on the plate above/on...
