Store Bought Corned Beef Question
I bought a corned beef from the local chain with the intention of making a pastrami. It may seem like a silly question, but is it necessary to soak it first? I have heard yes and no, but namely from people that boil it or pressure cook. To soak or not to soak, that is the question.... Thanks.- alexm

Corned Beef Question
I bought a 3 pound corned beef at the local chain grocery to make pastrami. Does it have to be soaked in water first, or can I put my rub on it and smoke it? Thanks.- alexm
