I like to make summer sausage, but use bratwurst style casings that way you can throw some in your pack while hunting and just bite off what you want versus having a big log of sausage and needing a knife
Duck season closed Sunday here and I was able to get a spot at the public area and it took till dark but I got the mallards
Then yesterday was the last day of our muzzloader season here and I was able to get a Doe with the flintlock
@uncle eddie you prob know this but if ya shoot skunks in the lungs ya have a 50/50 shot of them not spraying. Head or spine and they will spray (central nervous system thing) after ya skin if ya soak the skin in white vinegar the smell will be gone.

I just like old stuff @chopsaw ….most is hunting related, calls, decoys, wood bows, traps etc. but we have a bunch of food / restaurant related things too. Grinders, tables, a bit I’ve posted here. No shapleigh tho
Ha you boys are too close to home - grew older (not up lol) in Spanish lake- graduated from hazelwood east in 88. Most of the family now live up by @chopsaw but I’m several hours south now.
