Post pictures of your pets here

I've had this guy since the 70's. Not sure how long they live?

What Was Your Fav As A Kid??

Those short, shorts didn't hurt, either! I remember being astonished at how it seemed to heal itself by the next scene. One of my college instructors years ago, was a former LAPD sergeant. He told us about a new policy the mayor of LA had come up with, that no restaurants were...

    Prosper Meats is Permanently Closed

Our local butcher shop, Double DD Meats, just had a write up about their 70th anniversary. If they ever closed down (not likely, the place is always packed), a LOT of people in this area would be on their knees, pulling out hair, and wailing in despair.

    Deal of the Week...

When I got into the smoking life, about 15 years ago, I could pick up an ungraded brisket at Cash & Carry (restaurant supply store) for $1.49 lb. Hurts to think that prices have quadrupled since then.

    You're probably right.

    Time for some January Bacon!

    Deal of the Week...

Is this through a digital coupon? If so, what would be the zip code? My Kroger affiliate has honored those in the past.

    New Baguette pan

I have a similar pan, but it only holds 2 loaves. Works well.

Do NOT order from BBQGrills.com ⭐️

I almost fell for something like this last night. Ad stated it was from Nordstrom Rack and had several items at unbelievable prices. Put something in the cart, then hovered over the "send" email, and it was a completely different address. Looked that company up online and it was a known scammer.

Which method do you use to pay monthly bills?

I pay the monthly bills online thru Bank of America. Day to day stuff, mostly use my Costco Citi card, then pay it off every month. It adds up. Citi is sending me a rebate check this month for around $600. I think that's separate from the Costco rebate (also have the Executive membership card.)

    Sourdough Waffles

Waffle looks great! Yesterday I had my son over, so I made sourdough banana blueberry pancakes. Turned out pretty good, too.

    It's This Kind Of Day

Nice collection! I see you have one of the older bottles of Duke. Used to get those for about $20 here, but when they went with the new label, it mysteriously doubled in price.

    Sick-Day Beef Ribs

Ok, so my first time using the RecTeq guided cook took me a little by surprise. It automatically bumped up the temp for the finish. Didn't see that coming. But overall, a success. At the 3 hour mark. And done! Decent smoke ring. Plated w/ some au-gratin potatoes.

    Sick-Day Beef Ribs

I've been battling a nasty head cold, and took off the past couple days from work. Feeling a little better today, thanks to my green tea with lemon & honey. But I can see my RecTeq from where my laptop is, and it's been calling me. So I thawed out some beef ribs. Package says spares, but they...

    2025 NFL Season Thread

Seahawks vs. Patriots I don't give a darn about the halftime shows, haven't for several years. Just hope the weather improves in 2 weeks so NE can get a flight out. At least they'll get out of the cold for a couple days. GO HAWKS!

    Major Winter Storm

Days have been in the 40's for most of the Winter here in the Seattle area. Rain of course, but I'm not complaining. Better than what you guys are putting up with.
