Interesting there is no feedback at all and that nobody else has done this with their smoker.
This smoker being 24.5 x 33 makes it more difficult to get a plywood base. Pre-cut plywood is 2 feet by 4 feet so it missed by about a half inch. I'm actually thinking of using 1 x4 or 2 x 4 pieces...
I have not personally seen that, but it is not a bad option at all and it should work perfectly if you are looking to just make your smoker mobile.
I probably am going to stick with using plywood and casters so I can line the bottom with aluminum sheeting and then build the hut around that...
