    Lang website: The DELUXE includes a warmer box for additional smoking and slow cooking capacity. The unit is on a backyard patio cart. Is the "warmer box" a cold smoker?  Or does it just maintain temperature?  What do you use it for? TIA, Sid

    Everyone suggests getting bigger then you need to allow room to grow.  I won't be feeding 100's of people but, I can live with a little more wood burn to allow some future flexibility, within reason.  24"x48" seems to be about the limit on the upper end which is probably overkill for two...

    I have read in other areas of the forum that you want partially seasoned/dried out wood that still has some moisture to it.  Having burned a lot of wood in a fireplace, I can tell you that some of the smoke was really nasty and I was glad most of it went up the chimney and not into the living...
