That's a great setup! I have only used it a couple times but I don't seem to have any airflow issues yet, will definitely keep the grill strategy in mind for the cold smoke. Hoping to have it up and running Saturday. Thanks for all the ideas!
Nice looking burgers! Sorry to hear on the sweet potatoes... I like to toss mine in a bag with some olive oil, chipotle powder, and garlic before tossing in a HOT oven or right over the flame on the grill. A slight dusting of corn starch seems to help getting a crisp. Next time!
Thanks for all the info Kurt!
Based on your suggestion I think I will end up building a mailbox, I want to cold smoke so that seems to help there even. My girlfriend is out of town this weekend so I'll also have time to fiddle! I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
Thanks Kurt! Would you put foil on the bottom since I would need to remove the tray? I guess that placement would prevent me from using the 3rd row of the AMNPS but I could be filling the chip loader constantly! I will look into the mailbox mod based on your feedback.
I mentioned my issues with this when posting about a smoke I did but haven't yet had feedback so I figured I would put my question in the right spot! I have an MES 30 Bluetooth and am unsure where the best place to put my a-maze-n smoker is. I have done a lot of reading and I am not sure mine...
I had sent them to her... here they are!
Gravy made from the drippings as well as some chicken stock I had poured into the vegetable pan.
Thanks for looking... Feedback appreciated!
